Thousands of years ago, herb medicine was food. For Chinese and Japanese people it still is. When Chinese herbs are dried they become a concentrate, and even more nutritious. When cooked, their extract is strong, pure and powerful medicine. Herbs work by locating the source of disharmony. Ken grew up eating herbs. He is familiar with the character of each herb. This knowledge is essential in identifying, which herb and how many "chin" (grams) are needed, to cure a disease.
